Plumbing Module Scheduled for Women’s Repair Course

Home Repair Resource center is now accepting applications from interested women homeowners for the next module in its Home How-To women’s repair course. The “Plumbing Repairs” module will include eight two-hour classes: Intro to Plumbing on 11/7; Toilets on 11/14; Faucets on 11/28; Drains & Traps on 1/9; Wet Basements & Sewers on 1/16; Copper Water Lines on 1/23; Plastic Water Lines on 1/30; and Water Heaters on 2/6. Participants will benefit from personal attention and “hands-on” experience in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere, with opportunities to practice tool use and repair techniques. Absolutely no previous experience is required! 

The four modules in the Home How-To course can be taken in sequence or individually. Each module is limited to 18 women. The program is open to all Northeastern Ohio homeowners. Tuition is $120 per module for Cleveland Heights residents and $150 for non-residents, with reduced rates for low-income Cleveland Heights residents.
