Register by Aug. 6 for freezing and canning workshop
The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes is holding a freezing and canning workshop from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 9. Learn how to use a water bath canner and pressure canner, get tips on canning tomatoes, and freezing fruits and veggies.
Registration is required by Aug. 6. Call 216-321-5935, ext. 235 to register. Cost is $5 for members, $7 for non-members. Optional USDA Home Canning Guide is $10.
