A 58-year-old Cleveland Heights man said two kids assaulted him on the 1100 block of Cleveland Heights Boulevard as he was walking home from the grocery store.
The man said that the children — a 10-year-old and a 16-year-old from Cleveland Heights — came up from behind him. The younger boy spit on him, he said, and the older boy pushed him from behind and punched him several times. The man was able to fight off the kids with his grocery bags. Cleveland Heights Police responded and arrested the two suspects, who were charged with simple assault.
