86-Year-Old Man Attacked In His Cleveland Heights Home
Two suspects broke into his home at 1 a.m. Monday and assaulted him.
An 86-year-old man was attacked at his home near the corner of Windsor and Cambridge at about 1 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, Cleveland Heights Police reported.
Two young men had come to his home at 10:30 p.m. that evening and asked if they could use the phone. The man said no, but he offered to make the call for them. They said no and left.
The man fell asleep on the couch in his living room and woke up to the same two men from earlier beating him, police said. The suspects stole two handguns during the aggravated burglary. The man was taken to the hospital and is now at home recovering from his injuries.
Police are investigating the incident.

I saw no mention of Section 8 anywhere in the article. I frankly do not know, however, what Section 8 has to do with it.

This is one of the most horrifying and disgusting stories I've ever read on Patch. I certainly hope the brazen individuals who committed this atrocious crime -- a crime against all decent citizens of this city -- are soon apprehended and brought to justice.
