BYOP For Coventry's Pie Fight Tonight

The fifth annual Cartoon Night and Pie Fight is set for Thursday, July 12 at the Coventry PEACE Park.

Coventry PEACE Park is going to be a mess tonight.

That's because it's the Fifth Annual Cartoon Night and Pie Fight, where families are invited — and permitted — to fill aluminum foil pans with whipped cream and throw them at other participants.

The evening is part of Coventry Village's Music & Movies Under the Stars series, and will also feature music from The Flavor and cartoons.

The evening begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12. For more information, check out the flier included with this article and visit the Coventry Village website.

I posted some of my photos from a previous Coventry Pie Throw, but I have a meeting tonight and don't think I'd get there on time - grrrrr.

I saw one of them in our Pics & Clips gallery - thank you so much! I asked Steve Presser what time it would start, and he said about 10:15 p.m., just in case you thought the pie-throwing portion was earlier in the evening. I wanted to stop by and take photos, too, but my camera is not great in the dark.
