Cleveland Heights Police Blotter: Burglary, Theft and Robbery Reports

Reports on the Cleveland Heights call logs from June 7 through June 20

 

Between June 7 and June 20, several people reported burglaries, car thefts and robberies. Below are some of the incidents reported in Cleveland Heights. 

June 7 

  • Someone broke into a vacant home on the 1500 block of Maple Road.
  • Someone stole items from a home on the 3400 Block of Woodridge Road.
  • Someone stole copper plumbing and other items were taken from a vacant home on the 1800 block of Compton Road.
  • A man reported that someone stole his moped from his garage on the 1100 block of Sylvania Road.
  • A woman said someone took property from her home on the 1400 block of Warrensville Center Road. 

June 8

  • Someone reported a theft at Hampstead Road and Washington Boulevard.
  • Someone stole a car from the 3800 block of Mayfield Road.

June 9  

  • A man grabbed a purse from a woman who was riding the RTA bus near the Kildale Avenue. The suspect ran toward Cedarbrook Road. 
  • A woman said her cellphone was stolen from Cain Park. 

June 10 

  • There was a burglary on the 900 block of Elbon Road.

June 11 

  • Someone stole a car on the 900 block of Caledonia Avenue.
  • Someone stole items from a car at 25 Severance Circle. 
  • Someone broke into a vacant home on the 3700 block of Mayfield Road.

June 12

  • There was a burglary on the 900 block of Yellowstone Road.
  • Someone stole an employee's wallet at Nighttown.
  • Phoenix Coffee on Coventry reported a theft, as the drawer was short $500.

June 13

  • Someone burglarized a home on the 3800 block of Northampton Road. 
  • Someone stole a car from the 900 block of Pembrook Road.
  • Someone stole lawn care equipment from the 2100 block of Oakdale Road.
  • Someone stole items from a car parked on the 1400 block of Huntington Lane.

June 14

  • Someone stole bicycles from a garage on the 3300 block of Blanche Road.
  • Someone said they were robbed on the 2800 block of Mayfield Road.

June 15

  • Someone stole items from a home on the 2500 block of Euclid Heights Boulevard.
  • A woman reported that her daughter's school-issued laptop from Roxboro Middle School was stolen.
  • A woman said property was stolen from her yard. 

June 16

  • Someone was robbed near Jimmy O'Neill's tavern on Lee Road.
  • Someone broke into a home on the 2400 block of Fairmount Boulevard.
  • Someone stole items from a home on the 1100 block of Cleveland Heights Boulevard.
  • A robbery was reported at Noble Elementary School. 
  • Someone stole items from a home on the 1700 block of Compton Road. 

July 17

  • Someone stole items from a home on the 3200 block of Euclid Heights Boulevard.

July 18

  • Someone reported that items were stolen from a car on parked near Superior Park Drive and South Taylor Road.
  • Someone stole items from a car on the 2300 block of South Overlook Road.

    July 19

    • Someone was robbed at the corner of Euclid Heights Boulevard and Lancashire Road.

    July 20

    • Someone came into the station to report that they were robbed near 1717 Coventry Road.

    Map not detailed enough. Should show more major streets such as taylor and possibly warrensville. A compass abd picture would be nice too.
