Coble and Peppler Re-elected to the CH-UH School Board

Both candidates ran unopposed

Voters re-elected and  to the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School Board, according to unofficial, final results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

Coble received 7,955 votes, and Peppler received 8,972.

Though both were grateful that voters re-elected them, it was a given. Both incumbents ran unopposed. They were more excited that the district's 6.9-mill levy passed.

"I’m personally feeling very energized by the win on the levy and how much support we have from our community for our schools. That’s really how I look at this," Peppler said.

Coble said the fact the levy passed by more than 2,500 votes shows the community "has our backs."

"It’s a huge win for the community, the levy part, not our eletion. The community turned out so strong for it. It’s a huge vote of confidence in where the schools are going," Coble said.

Coble, 43 and Peppler, 49, have served on the CH-UH School Board since 2008. Coble was , and will complete his one-year term in December. Peppler also served as president in 2010. Board members serve four-year terms.

Coble and Peppler each have two children in the CH-UH district.
