CHUH Custodian Arrested for Stealing Laptops

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District employee gave computers to her son to sell online, police say

A custodian in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District was charged with grand theft after police say she stole at least two school-issued computers.

Cynthia Patton, a employee, was arrested after she stole a laptop and gave it to her 21-year-old son to sell on eBay, said officials from the . 

Patton, 39, is on administrative leave pending the outcome of the district's termination process, said Angee Shaker, communications director for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights schools.
