Domestic Dispute Source of Gun Shots Heard on Yorkshire

Several residents called Cleveland Heights Police at 4 a.m. Sept. 12 and said they heard shots fired on Yorkshire Road.

 

Several residents called Cleveland Heights Police at 4 a.m. Sept. 12 and reported that they heard gunfire in the Yorkshire neighborhood.

A couple who lives on the 3300 block of the street got into a fight, according to police. When the woman tried to leave, the man smashed her car window with a baseball bat and is accused of firing a gun at her. No one was injured.

Andre Williams, a 35-year-old Cleveland Heights resident, was arrested and charged with felonious assault, and police recovered a gun.
