Five Things You Need to Know About Cleveland Heights This Week

Hydrant flushing starts this week and CHUH School District to host meeting about reuse of former Coventry School

 

1. Hydrant flushing starts Tuesday and runs through June. The Cleveland Heights Fire Department will flush hydrants Tuesdays through Fridays throughout the day, and signs will be posted. Check water for rust daily before drinking or washing clothes.

2. The Cleveland Heights City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. tonight at City Hall

3. The Cleveland Heights-University Heights School Board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Board of Education building.

4. RoxArts is hosting a benefit from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Friday at B-Side Lounge. Proceeds from the $25 to $30 tickets and silent auction go toward supporting its arts programs for students at Roxboro elementary and middle schools

5. The Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District is hosting a meeting at the former Coventry School at 6:30 p.m. Thursday to discuss the plans for the building. Representatives from the Ensemble Theatre, the Cleveland Sight Center and Family Connections will attend to answer questions from residents.
