Akron is having their display on July 4th at approximately 9:50 pm near Lock 3. It's the final day of the rib festival. Because of dry weather and possible fire conditions, the fireworks could be canceled at the last minute, from what I have read on the internet.

?? North Canton, Menton, Brunswick and Avon (all on your rather extensive list) are Patch towns? I thought Patch was for Fairlawn and Bath communities.

Okay, thanks. For anyone who wants to know, in downtown Akron on July 4th, the Akron Symphony plays in Lock 3 followed by fireworks. There are also great fireworks at Portage Country Club on the 4th and they let the public in for free to see them.
