FutureHeights Celebrates Anniversary With Grog Shop Benefit Show
The event is just one of the ways the local organization is marking a decade in the Heights
FutureHeights is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
The Cleveland Heights and University Heights organization started in 2000 but became a nonprofit in 2002. To celebrate the milestone, FutureHeights has planned many events, including one this Thursday at the Grog Shop.
"An Evening of Classical Music at the Grog Shop" will feature performances by ensembles from Classical Revolution Cleveland and Cleveland Heights High School.
Guest bartenders will serve drinks at the benefit show and include Cleveland Heights Mayor Ed Kelley, Big Fun owner Steve Presser, Quintana's Barber & Dream Spa owner Alex Quintana and Adam Fleischer, who recently opened The Wine Spot.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Feb. 23, music starts at 7. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students with ID. For more information, visit the FutureHeights or the Grog Shop websites.

I'm a board member of FutureHeights. We have moved the doors open time up to 6:00 pm. Also - other celebrity bartenders include Chip Ramsey (Washington & Lee Service), Julian Rogers (County Councilperson), and Chris Armington (Tavco). Hope to see everyone there!
