Home Repair Resource Center Offers Low-Cost Workshops
The organization offers weekly classes with hands-on practice
The 40-year-old Home Repair Resource Center offers several workshops throughout the year for Cleveland Heights residents.
The nonprofit has a large room similar to a school woodshop in its building on Noble Road, where people can learn, and practice hands-on, how to maintain their homes and take care of repairs.
Upcoming classes cover topics ranging from caulking and winterization to interior painting and hardwood floor repair.
The HRRC charges a fee for materials based on residents’ family income.
Here is a list of classes scheduled from September through December. All classes are from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and usually on Monday. Check the HRRC website for details, to register and for more information about other programs, and follow the links below to get more details about each workshop on the Cleveland Heights Patch calendar.
