Lube Stop Employee Robbed at Gunpoint

Police say someone took hundreds of dollars from an employee leaving the store.

The Cleveland Heights Police Department supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Police say an employee was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of Lube Stop just after closing Nov. 26.

The man had closed the store and was leaving with the bank deposit bag just before 7 p.m. when another man approached him in the parking lot.

The man showed the employee a handgun and demanded the money, then ran south on Lee Road.*

The employee was not injured in the incident.

Police responded but their search of the area yielded no results.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot, 6-inch tall, 200-pound black male wearing a navy blue windbreaker with the hood up.
