The group then took the teens' backpack, headphones, cell phone and jacket.

The victims described the gunman as being between the ages of 14 and 17 and 5' 8'' to six feet tall with a thin build. He had short cropped hair and wore a gray Nike sweatshirt.

Why are we leaving the perpetrator's race/skin color out of the description. It would be a helpful way to identify him. Also, 5PM and 8PM are not very late hours to be out, not that it is ok to get robbed at any time, but this seems to be a new trend around here. I would be happy to pay a special tax to get police at every other corner to "send a message" to criminals.
