Man Attacks Former Girlfriend in Parking Lot

Dec. 29, 5:49 p.m. — A man was arrested after police say he punched his former girlfriend in the parking lot of Dave’s Market. Police say witnesses stepped in to stop the attack after the woman called for help during a child custody exchange. As officers arrived on scene, the man moved to attack the woman again, they report. He was arrested and charged with domestic violence, child endangering and assault.

Dec. 29, 10:33 p.m. — A man reported that two men struck him in the head as he exited the RTA bus at 3606 Mayfield Road and tried to rob him. He suffered only minor injuries.

Dec. 30, 1:28 a.m. — A resident of the 1000 block of Roanoke Road reported a burglary.

Dec. 30, 2:34 p.m. — A resident reported that her apartment on the 2700 block of Noble Road was broken into and items were missing.
