Five great spots to celebrate the Irish holiday

 

Looking for a bar or a restaurant to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? Patch scouted five great spots to party, eat traditional foods and drink green shakes and Guinness for the holiday.

1. Melt Bar & Grilled

To honor St. Patrick’s Day, Melt's sandwich of the month, The Reuben Melt, is made with roasted corned beef, barrel-aged sauerkraut,
 zippy Russian dressing and Swiss cheese. Wash it all down with a Shamrock Shake — the restaurant's traditional St. Patty's Day celebration cocktail. Made with Bushmills Irish Whiskey, Carolans Irish Cream, crème de menthe and milk shaken and served over ice.

2. McNulty’s Pub

Come to McNulty’s and odds are something is on special, highlights include $2 Coors Cans amongst Budweiser, Bud Lite and Guinness specials for the holiday.

3. Winking Lizard

The Winking Lizard Tavern will cook breakfast for St. Patrick’s Day. Come get some French toast, steak 'n' eggs and more starting at 9:30 a.m.

4. Rudy’s Pub

Grab some corned beef then dance the food coma away to music from a live DJ.

5. Fire Food and Drink
