The return of warm weather is not very long off. That means many of us soon will be looking at new golf clubs, baseball equipment, workout clothing, bicycles, fishing tackle or camping gear, among many, many other sorts of sporting goods.

So this week's Readers' Choice focuses on sporting goods: Who's the best local purveyor? Is it because of great service? The wide selection? Or the great prices?

Though there are several sporting goods stores in the city, we didn't get any nominations. So we selected a handful of places we think you may like:
