Cedar Lee merchants are joining together to offer trick-or-treating and pumpkin carving in the business district Thursday, Oct. 25.

Phoenix Coffee will once again invite families to carve pumpkins at their shop on Lee Road from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., a tradition since 2004. Bremec on the Heights will donate the soon-to-be jack-o'-lanterns, and the $10 fee for the pumpkins benefits Heights Arts. Phoenix also provides candles, artistic advice, cookies and cider. Tools are available, but you can bring your own. Make sure you reserve a spot first by calling 216-932-8227.

That same evening, merchants along Lee Road from the Cedar Lee Theatre to the Lee Road Library will pass out free treats to kids from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the second annual Cedar-Lee Kids Candy Crawl. Shawn Paul Gustafson of Shawn Paul Salon spearheaded the first Candy Crawl in 2011.

Are you joining in the fun? Then make sure you come back to Cleveland Heights Patch and post your photos from the event here! It's simple.
