The summer diving show at Cumberland Pool featured Stubby Kruger, who was a well-known actor and stuntman in the '40s. Note the admission price: 25 cents. The photo was taken around 1944.

The Cumberland Pool has hosted events since it opened in 1927.

The best swimmers from around Cleveland performed and competed for spectators during its summer carnivals and and diving competitions, according to Cleveland Historical.

The Cleveland Heights pool now hosts an annual Water Show, which features children and teens who entertain the audience with their synchronized swimming performances and diving routines set to music.

Cleveland Heights Patch has included photos from the 2011 event and those from more than 50 years ago.
