Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Start the Conversation: Become a Cleveland Heights Patch Blogger

We're looking for people to share their opinion about issues they care about on Cleveland Heights Patch

Cleveland Heights Patch is more than a news site. We ask you for your opinions and input because we want it to be an online conversation about your community. We often ask you a question at the end of articles or encourage you to chime in on discussions via Facebook and Twitter.

Now we're asking you to initiate the conversation.

Start a forum in your community by becoming a Patch blogger. We're looking for five local voices from Cleveland Heights to write regular, engaging blogs about subjects and issues close to the community. If you have a blog or have always wanted to start one, we want to hear from you.

Strong community voices like yours are needed, and this is a chance to share your opinions and expertise with a wider audience. Everyone is welcome: Parents, artists, bike enthusiasts, nonprofit organizers, lawyers, grandparents, shopkeepers, baristas, hobbyists and government officials, just to name a few.

Share your points of view through the powerful Patch platform, which connects with Cleveland Heights on a grassroots level.

The space is free, and Patch bloggers are not paid and will own their blogs. So if you're already blogging and want to share with our readers, too, let us know.

Blogging for Cleveland Heights Patch means sharing your voice, not ours. It means writing twice a day, or twice a month. Your voice, our forum.

Contact Cleveland Heights Patch editor Michelle Simakis if you are interested in starting the conversation.

i would like to share a tip, about a project that i started 16yrs ago,LOTS OF HOSTAS,it is a opportunity for people with an overflow or a rare variety of hostas,to share and exchange our hostas, this is the ideal time to split and divide your hostas, while they are crowning above ground,as oppose to dividing the plant itself, which could result, you having a plant without form, remember divide the clump, not the plant, have a great day!

Hi Linda, All-We are organizing a plant swap fora weekend in May at the Housing Resource Center on Noble Rd. The swap will be real loosey-goosey lol. Just bring any plant, flower, vegetable, annual or perennial you have an excess of and browse and take any plant in exchange. Excess pots and/or bags would be appreciated. Becky will post the date and time in the HRCC newsletter and I will keep The Patch posted. Thanks for your tips on dividing Linda. Hope to see you and everyone else interested, there.
