Three Feet of Water Left by Trespassers

The Cleveland Heights Police Department supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Break-in at vacant home leaves three feet of water

Dec. 9, 3:58 p.m. — Police report that they discovered evidence of a breking and entering at a vacant home on Delmore Road. When they arrived, water was running in the basement and had collected around three feet.

Two boys robbed

Dec. 9, 3:15 p.m. — A woman reported that her two sons were robbed as they were walking to a convenience store on N. Taylor Road. Two males confronted them and demanded their cell phones, snacks and about $5 in cash, but returned their cell phones.

Man robbed at gunpoint

Dec. 9, 10:03 p.m. — A man reported that someone approached him on the 3900 block of Mayfield Road, showed him a gun and demanded his wallet, which had $10 and an ID.
