The Cleveland Heights Fire Department trained on new power cots on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.

The Cleveland Heights Fire Department recently got new motorized cots, which are expected to greatly reduce weat and tear for firefighters during patient pick-up.

The three systems - one for each ambulance - cost the city about $112,000 total. One firefighter injury is extimated to cost the city about $80,000.
