The Cleveland Heights Fire Department recently got new motorized cots, which are expected to greatly reduce weat and tear for firefighters during patient pick-up.
The three systems - one for each ambulance - cost the city about $112,000 total. One firefighter injury is extimated to cost the city about $80,000.
