Hope Ryan wants to start in on Libya again.

HI Carolo- Sort of apples and oranges. Increasing the budget wouldn't necessary lead to more security for the Libya embassy since I believe that budget is global. Security and safety of our people should come first, but that doesn't mean the overall spending could be more effective.

There is a lot of waste in gov't. For example, last summer a large number of Congress people had a tax payor funded trip to Scotland in August on a "fact finding mission". Scotland. I've heard is a basically a vacation for them. There's a California rep that bought a villa in Italy and gets a taxpayor funded trip over there all the time. Those types of trips or when a Senator goes to Bagdad for a photo op generates huge expenses with private security companies.

We're not only broken, but broken. Congress needs to be reform.

However, on this issue, State made a mistake in not supplementing the security. But there are similar risks all over the world at various embassies. They are always vulnerable and we need to think more strategically.

For example, do you know we have just as many fulltime musicians in military vs total people in State? Yep, generals like quartets at their cocktail parties.

Those who lost their lives were playing a big role in helping transform Libya. The ambassador was an impressive person as were the other folks lost. Not many realize the risk our State personnel take.

Think about this...What makes people think a First-Term senator who spent most of that First-Term running for another office, is qualified to oversee the world's largest economy?
Not only that, he was a First-Term state senator who spent most of that First-Term running for another office.
And you wonder why he was lost without TOTUS (teleprompter of the United States)

Vote Romney/ Ryan!

If I were Biden, I would be all over how politically and ideologically split the Republican ticket is between Romney and Ryan. And with Romney's mad dash to the center, away from everything that he has been campaigning on up until last week, is even more of a mad dash away from what Paul believes in. I would be asking Paul how it feels to have compromised your character to stand shoulder to shoulder with somebody who is now campaigning on everything that Ryan has spent his life campaigning against.

Ohio women should be up in arms against Romney for his vow to repeal Roe vs Wade, for taking away health benefits provided by Obamacare, and much more. He would be a "Nightmare on Pennsylvania Avenue" for women.
