Tearing down houses in Cleveland Heights is a GOOD thing. There are a couple on my street I wish they would tear down. The market is flooded with homes and the area is experiencing a dwindling population. Having less homes on the market and lower availability of housing will help homeowners. The city should think about that before they refurbish homes.

the city has a great plan...refurbish houses and sell them for a loss and fine the rest of us for housing violations to cover the loss. Unfortunately we homeowners cannot get the city to pay for repairing our houses to meet some irrelevant code.

I love photo #237. It shows a wonderful Heights Library event with kids who represent a slice of Cleveland Heights neighborhoods and a dedicated children's librarian, Henry, at work helping to make free Heights events possible for all. Our city has great free events for all to enjoy and a superb library system.

The cat: Cats tend to roam, and whenever anyone sees one they assume it is a stray or lost. I have lost two or three cats because they used to lie on the sidewalk when people were walking by, and I am certain that they were taken. My current cat does not go out.
