OMG Gloria Steinem is still so very super groovy. Seriously.

Half asleep, I heard her arrival on E's Chelsea Lately the other night and woke more fully as she began to speak to host Chelsea Handler.  Apparently, at an event honoring Forbes’ 100 Most Powerful Women (*Could the setting be more ironic for what is to occur? I think not.) 

Anyway, at this event, Arianna Huffington, who’s been out-of-touch with her own grooviness for a while, actually told Ms. Handler that she “needs” to have children.

Ohyesshedid.

And then, Gloria stepped up with a line to remember: 

“Everybody with a womb doesn’t have to have a child any more than everybody with vocal cords has to be an opera singer.”
