The CH city council just passed something about a "youth commission". meh
Here's an exerpt from councilperson Stein's new column, which I link below:
"The commission will work to promote understanding and awareness of government among youth, encourage participation in government by youth, provide advice to council on issues affecting youth, promote communication between young people and adults within the community and work on projects that better the community."
All well and good, I suppose. It passed 6 - 1, with a "More is always better" kind of sound-bite-in-lieu-of-analysis-and-justification.
What would be *better* is if they engaged the voting taxpayers in a similar way, ya know?
But they don't bother.

I might add that Stein is the only council person who has ever failed to respond to my email. A one termer for sure! Hey Stein, how's the negotiating going with the school board over Millikin? Are you being played for the fool that you are by the Board?

I have nothing good to say about him, either.
