Police arrested two boys aged 12 and 14 after they said the boys burglarized a Monticello Road home. Officers were called to a home on the 3500 block April 30 by a resident who said someone entered her home and took a laptop. The woman said that two boys had helped her with yard work the day before and she invited them into her home. Police questioned the boys, and they admitted to going back to the home on April 30 and breaking in to get the laptop.

Teens charged with burglary April 8 — Someone reported a burglary at the 1100 block of Oxford Road, and that they had seen two males carrying a bag near the time of the burglary. The victim described the two to police and an officer later spotted two teens matching the description. A man said his son spotted four men burglarizing their home, and the suspects left with the oven and the back door, police said. Cleveland Heights Police arrested a 17-year-old male in connection with several burglaries in the city over the past several weeks. Detectives say the teen stole $20,000 in jewelry from a home on the 2200 block of Coventry Road on March 19 and sold some of it to a pawn shop, where police recovered it.  During a warrant search of the teen's bedroom, police found evidence from other crimes reported in the area, including a theft from mail on the 2100 block of Lennox Road, a burglary on the 2200 block of Tudor, a theft from a car on the 2200 block of Bellfield and an incident where a woman …
