The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Board of Education heard from two City of Cleveland Heights Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest winners at Tuesday's meeting. Garrison Lash and Terrance Law, both sophomores at The Renaissance School of Humanities & International Studies at Cleveland Heights High School, wrote about an incident when their baseball team visited a small town in rural Ohio for a tournament game. The Cleveland Heights-University Heights City Schools Board of Education will hear the five-year financial forecast at tonight's meeting. Ohio Governor John Kasich announced his plan for school funding last week, which included more funding and more autonomy for school principals.
