The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes holds its 30th Annual Plant Sale!
The Nature Center welcomes spring with an inspiring offering of plants for the 2012 Plant Sale, selected by a local team of experienced horticulturalists. Choose from a variety of affordable native plants, perennials, annuals, herbs and vegetables. Annual plants can be purchased individually or in convenient, pre-arranged hanging baskets and container gardens.
Pre-Order Plants with Delivery to Your Door
Plant Sale catalogs with order forms are available at the Nature Center and on our website. Pre-orders are due Monday, April 16. All pre-orders will be delivered directly to your home on Wednesday, May 9 or Thursday, May 10. Delivery fee is $15 for members, $20 for non-members. Delivery fee is $15 for all orders of $100 or more.
Plant Sale Day at the Nature Center features a variety of plants to choose from and experts on hand to guide you to a great selection. Plant Sale Day includes kids’ activities, making it a fun day for the entire family!

More About Nature Center At Shaker Lakes
The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes was built in 1966, keeping Shaker Parklands from becoming a freeway connecting Cleveland's Eastside to Downtown Cleveland. Citizens in the community joined together and fought the proposed Clark-Lee Freeway and now the Nature Center has been designated as a natural green-space. The mission of this establishment is to connect people with nature. It teaches children about nature through many classes, programs, workshops and school field trips. Places in the grounds can be rented for private banquets, parties or meetings.
