CH-UH District Facilities planning meeting
This is the final meeting to discuss the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District facilities plan. Childcare and refreshments will be provided. The purpose of this meeting is to bring a single idea, along with the financial plan to fund it, to the public. The public will again be asked to provide input on the plan and suggestions for making it the best plan possible for students and the community.
More About Cleveland Heights High School
Cleveland Heights High School, founded in 1901 and at its current location on Lee and Cedar roads since 1927, educates students in the Cleveland Heights and University Heights areas. In 2004, Heights High was divided into smaller schools with the hope that student achievement, engagement and graduation rates would improve. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation donated $20 million to the KnowledgeWorks Foundation, which created the Ohio High School Transformation Initiative. Five different principals lead Legacy, P.R.I.D.E., R.E.A.L., Mosaic Experience and Renaissance, and each has its own philosophical approach to teaching and learning.
