More About Cleveland Heights High School
Cleveland Heights High School, founded in 1901 and at its current location on Lee and Cedar roads since 1927, educates students in the Cleveland Heights and University Heights areas. In 2004, Heights High was divided into smaller schools with the hope that student achievement, engagement and graduation rates would improve. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation donated $20 million to the KnowledgeWorks Foundation, which created the Ohio High School Transformation Initiative. Five different principals lead Legacy, P.R.I.D.E., R.E.A.L., Mosaic Experience and Renaissance, and each has its own philosophical approach to teaching and learning.
