More About Lake View Cemetery
Lakeview Cemetery is a 285-acre, historic cemetery that has been a staple of Cleveland since 1869. It is the final resting place to James A. Garfield, along with more than 100,000 people, and has an impressive collection of trees and other plants in a spacious botanical collection in the middle of otherwise urban terrain. Guests are welcome to explore the cemetery daily while the gates are open from 7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. The Cemetery Association offers many services for the recently deceased including vaults, community mausoleums, cremation and special veteran services.
