Cleveland Heights will have a guided hike through the 235-acre Forest Hill Park with a naturalist. Dress to hike with sturdy shoes or boots. The hike will take place rain or shine and will meet in the front of the Community Center.

More About Forest Hill Park
Forest Hills Park is located on Lee Road in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. This location is on the border of Cleveland Heights and East Cleveland. Forest Hills Park has four lighted baseball fields and six lighted tennis courts. The all-purpose pathway leads into the nature trail. Forest Hills Park has three large picnic shelters and the park is home to a huge duck pond. Surrounding schools often hold 10-year and all-year reunions at the park. Picnic shelters are on a first-come, first-served basis.

This gift from John D. Rockefeller is the only large natural greenspace left in our area; I thank him for it every time I go for a walk in Forest Hill Park. . Oakwood was the only other greenspace in our community and our city council members, led by Ed Kelley deliberately and consistently turned their backs on any effort to save it. Now Walmart is leaving Severance to build a Superwalmart on Oakwood. (Ballys announced they are leaving, also.) Please support the Forest Hills Parks Association and consider making a donation or volunteering today.
