FREE TO NEW STUDENTS (Those who have never to been to Atma Center before, or have not attended class for 6 months or longer)
Improve your flexibility, strength, and stamina and learn basic breathing and stress relief techniques. Explore the unique Pawanmuktasana series, which increase flexibility, core strength, and dynamic energy. The practices in Foundation A can help relieve and prevent degenerative diseases and conditions like arthritis, high blood pressure and back problems. A key part of this level is developing physical and mental awareness in ways which can be used on and off the yoga mat.
Suitable for all regardless of fitness level, health conditions or age: great for beginners and experienced practitioners who wish to improve their technique; Safe for pregnant women and people with injuries or restrictions. Teachers will provide modifications for your unique needs in this non-competitive environment.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early. Class size is limited and latecomers may not be admitted.

The Atma Center is an award-winning yoga center dedicated to the Satyananda form of yoga. They offer 30 to 40 weekly studio classes, corporate programs, workshops, and Yoga Therapy. The Atma Centers' retail store offers walk-in and online customers with yoga mats, props, books, CDs, neti pots, supplements, health related items, and unique gifts.
