DESCRIPTION:The Consulate of Italy in Detroit and the Cleveland Museum of
  Art are pleased to co-sponsor the Ohio Philharmonic Orchestra under the
  direction of Maestro Domenico Boyagian&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Antonio P
 ompa-Baldi at the piano\, performing the Grieg Piano Concerto&nbsp\;in A
  minor. &nbsp\;The program also includes the Grieg Holberg Suite and Rav
 el Le Tombeau de Couperin. The concerts&nbsp\;will take place in the Gar
 tner Auditorium on&nbsp\;Friday May 4th&nbsp\;at 7:30pm\, and a matinee 
 on Saturday May 5th&nbsp\;at 2:00pm. Tickets are available http://www.oh

 raised in Foggia\, Italy\, Antonio Pompa-Baldi first came to the U.S. in
  1999 to participate in the Cleveland International Piano Competition. H
 e won the First Prize\, and\, while fulfilling all the engagements that 
 came with it\, he and his wife\, Italian pianist Emanuela Friscioni\, de
 cided to make Cleveland their home.&nbsp\;\nAntonio Pompa-Baldi is a Ste
 inway Artist. He serves as Distinguished Professor of Piano at the Cleve
 land Institute of Music\, and gives master-classes around the world\, bo
 th in conjunction with his performing engagements\, and at summer festiv
 als including Piano Fest in the Hamptons\, TCU-Cliburn Institute\, South
 eastern Piano Festival (University of South Carolina School of Music)\, 
 Paisiello Academy (Lucera\, Italy)\, and Napolinova Academy (Naples\, It
 aly).\nMr. Domenico Boyagian&nbsp\;was&nbsp\;Born and raised in Bologna\
 , Italy.&nbsp\; He began his music studies at the age of 6. He is quickl
 y proving himself to be equally comfortable with both the orchestral and
  operatic repertory. Mr. Boyagian is also Assistant Conductor for Opera 
 Southwest in Albuquerque\, NM.\nThe Ohio Philharmonic received rave revi
 ews under his baton. Concerts received important media coverage and were
  reviewed by a few of Cleveland&rsquo\;s most prestigious printed and on
 line newspapers\, magazines and blogging websites\, including the Clevel
 and Plain Dealer and ClevelandClassical.com among others. Future engagem
 ents include concerts in the U.S. and in Europe.&nbsp\; William Laufer i
