Wildlives are a five-piece band from Cleveland, formed in 2008 by a group of longtimefriends who met in the rec leagues. The band is composed of multi-instrumentalist Ian Bojalad, songwriter and lyricist Matt Ciani, drummer Nico Ciani, bassist John Myers, and guitarist Will Myers. They describe their sound as a mix of haunted Americana and piano punk. Their forthcoming record, The Winesburg Eagle, addressed small-town stagnation in the American Midwest.
