90 Years in 90 Days: Halloween at the Sherman House

90 photos that define Cleveland Heights

Cleveland Heights officially became a city in 1921. Cleveland Heights Patch is by compiling 90 photos to create an album of the city's past and present. We'll run the feature for 90 days, one photo at a time.

Today's photo shows Halloween at the home of Philip and Maxine Sherman. The decorations occupy the front yard, the front porch and the roof top of the home on Euclid Heights Boulevard. Maxine Sherman estimates they'll see 800 youngsters between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Oct. 31.

The next day, they'll pull everything down, and store it in the basement for another year.
