90 Years in 90 Days: The Fourth of July Parade on Sycamore Road

90 photos that define Cleveland Heights

Cleveland Heights officially became a city in 1921. Cleveland Heights Patch is by compiling 90 photos to create an album of the city's past and present. We'll run the feature for 90 days, one photo at a time.

Today's photo comes from the 1920s and shows the Fourth of July Parade along the 3200 block of Sycamore Road. The addresses in the photo run from 3233 to 3209. Look closely and you'll see the street was brick instead of asphalt. Not much more information is available. If you recognize any houses, or lived in the area when parades were frequent, please share your memories in the comments.
