Family Connections Hosting Dad's Day Run Benefit
Proceeds from the Father's Day race go toward supporting the organization's programs
is hosting an event on Father's Day to benefit the organization, and to benefit the health of its families.
The starts at 9 a.m. Sunday, and has both 5-mile and 1-mile courses to accommodate runners and walkers of all levels. Strollers are welcome, too.
The pre-registration deadline is June 16, and costs $20 for adults. Day of registration is $25 for adults and starts at 7:30 a.m. Kids are $15, and there is also a free 100-meter sprint for children ages 3 to 12.

The organization, formerly called the Heights Parent Center, and Shaker Heights. The event will be at the Shaker Family Center on 19824 Sussex Road.
A post-race party with food, drinks and a special visit from the Flower Clown will begin at 10:15 a.m.
