Where/When: Beck Center, 17801 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood; Saturday, 8 p.m.

Why Go: It’s an opera about Jerry Springer. But it’s not for the kiddies: it’s pretty notorious for its profanity.

Pricing: $17 to $28

Where/When: ; Friday, 8 p.m.

Why Go: These bands play more than guitar, bass and drums. Revolver's members play cello and piano. The Ridges, an indie folk group named after the shuttered, legendary mental health hospital in Athens, OH, is comprised of three musicians who play guitar, cello, ukulele, harmonica and the glockenspiel, and they feature guest performers who play other instruments.
