Help us Gather 90 Days of Cleveland Heights

Submit your ideas for photos that define the 90-year-old city

Cleveland Heights has several notable people, places and neighborhoods that are household names known far beyond the city limits:

, Coventry, , , , Heights Libraries and , just to name a few.

Ninety years ago, Cleveland Heights officially became a city. In order to celebrate its birthday and its long, rich history that extends beyond 1921, we’re showcasing 90 photos of Cleveland Heights’ people and places in 90 days.

But we need your help. We want to know what, where and who define Cleveland Heights for you.

Cleveland Heights is celebrated for the diversity of its people and ideas. In that same spirit, a handful of people cannot create a complete photo series that truly represents the city. Please comment below with your ideas for our gallery, or email submissions to Michelle.Simakis@Patch.com. Tell us about the people and places that should be a part of this gallery, and we'll find and photograph them.

Browse the photos above for a preview of the first five photos and what we will offer during the next 90 days, and thank you for your participation.

You need to correct the oakwood story you linked to from the PD. Oakwood was not commercially zoned and cannot be grandfathered. Please don't mimic the PD's stenographic journalism.

Hi. Thank you for reading and for your comment. We linked out to the PD story, which means we just shared it. We were not responsible for the reporting or content, so we cannot change or correct it. We are following Oakwood though as well and I plan to update our coverage soon. Please use your real name in the future. It is part of our terms of use. Thanks again for reading.
