Slideshow: Cleveland Heights Honors Those Who Serve

Close to 300 people came to honor veterans and fallen soldiers

On Monday, a Memorial Day Ceremony was held at Cumberland Park in Cleveland Heights. Approximately 300 Heights residents turned out to observe the day's memorial service to remember those who have given their lives in service to our country and recognize all veterans in attendance.

On hand participating in the memorial service were the Cleveland Heights Mayor Ed Kelley, Cleveland Heights Police Department's Honor Guard, Boy Scout Troop 403 and a local Girl Scout Troop. The Heights High Band and All-Generations Band entertained the attendees and  student essay winners read their work.
