Keith Culley says his stainless steel pendants and earrings are simple and practical.
The mostly square and rectangular pieces aren't embellished with gems or designs, but it's obvious that Culley took careful consideration when arranging and creating the shapes.
Culley grew up in a farm in rural Ohio, and he said the experience influenced his preference for a simple, ordered look rather than a busy, complex one.
"...simplicity and efficiency were part of daily life, as was the application of form following function. I was raised to appreciate the beauty of simple things and expected to produce well-made work that could in turn be appreciated by others," Culley, who lives in Springfield, OH, wrote on his website. "Indeed, farmers I knew took pride in having the straightest rows of corn or making a geometrically perfect gate."
