Cedar Fairmount Hosts Its 11th Annual Festival Today

The Cedar Fairmount Summer Festival & Arts and Crafts Sale will be from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. today, Sunday, Aug. 12.

For more than a decade, the Cedar Fairmount Business District has organized a free summer festival for families.

This year's event marks the 11th year of the Cedar Fairmount Summer Festival & Arts and Crafts Sale, which will be from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. today, Sunday, Aug. 12.

The festival will feature more than 50 vendors, including artists' jewelry, pottery, paintings and more. Local eateries will also sell food like hot dogs, gelato, pizza, gyros and veggie wraps.

The business district will provide entertainment for kids, including pony rides, a bounce house, face painting, and of course Euclid Beach Rocket Car rides.

Authors will sign books at , several musicians will perform throughout the day, Cleveland Heights police and fire officials will meet residents in the bakery parking lot and Cedarwood Plaza Skilled Nursing will provide blood pressure readings at the .

And animal adoption agencies will be on hand for those considering adding a furry friend to the family.
