Cedar Fairmount SID Hosting Benefit Concert at Nighttown To Raise Money For New Sign

The Rita Coolidge performances at Nighttown on Friday, Oct. 12 will raise money for the new sign in the Cedar Fairmount Business District and future streetscape projects.

The Cedar Fairmount Special Improvement District is hosting a benefit concert at Nighttown to help pay for the new district sign and future streetscape projects.

The event will feature two performances by Rita Coolidge, a two-time Grammy award winner. A first, general public concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12. A private cocktail party will follow the first performance at 7 p.m., and the benefit concert will begin at 8 p.m. There will also be a silent auction at the event.

Tickets to the first concert are $70, and tickets to the benefit concert, which includes gold circle seating, the cocktail party and the silent auction are $150.

Though Coolidge is known for her recordings like "One Fine Day" and "The Way You Do The Things You Do," she also performs jazz songs.

Dr. Gus and Jan Kious, Cleveland Heights residents, are honorary chairs.
