Stock up on bargain-priced books, DVDs and more, for you and your friends and family, at the Friends of the Heights Libraries pre-holiday sale Thursday through Saturday at the library's Harvey & Friends Bookstore & Cafe on the 2nd floor.
The sale features thousands of items, including patron-donated materials and items culled from the shelves of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Library system’s four branches. All items are in good condition and at special near-giveaway prices: children’s and adults’ hardcover books, 50 cents; select paperbacks, five for $1; DVDs $2; CDs and VHS tapes $1. Also on sale: home-baked treats from Friends members, and coffee from Phoenix Coffee.
Those who join the Friends at the sale or renew an annual membership will earn a voucher for five free books. Annual membership dues are only $10 for individuals and $25 for families.
