Goodnight City Lights / Burning Down Broadway / Youth Never Dies

Doors 5:30 | Show 6:30

Formed in 2008, Goodnight City Lights has become one of the most prominent bands in all of Northeast Ohio. Their unique blend of infectious hooks and driving instrumentals landed them the opportunity to record with producer Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, Senses Fail, Circa Survive). The end result was their defining debut album, The World At My Feet. Guitarist TJ Horansky writes, “There is so much monotony going on in the scene right now. We wanted an album that was equal parts epic, heavy and catchy; not heavy in the sense of hardcore, but with loud guitars, pounding drums and stuff like that”. Rounded out by vocalist Reilly O’Neill drummer Matt Svoboda bassist Paul Butcher and guitarist Mike Jansen, the bands focused dedication to heartfelt rock anthems has set them apart from the rest of the scene.  Powered by success of their single “Fireworks”, Goodnight City Lights has opened for such bands as Anarbor, Attack Attack, Craig Owens, Valencia, D.R.U.G.S., and Conditions. They have been featured on numerous radio stations in Cleveland, as well as indie radio stations as far as Denver and New York. Riding the local buzz, GCL was also selected as a winner in the 2012 Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands and played at the Vans Warped Tour. The future is promising for this young band as they move onto the next level of their career.
