Laurel and Hardy Movies sponsered by "Sons of the Desert"

Hi Gang,
Thanks to Al and Lynn Corwin for hosting the last Big Business meeting, that was a blast.

Our next meeting will be Sunday June 12th, 5:30 at the Old Mayland Theatre now the  “Boneyard”  5900 Mayfield Road, Cleveland, OH 44124-2905 , for chicken wings and  other food that has a bone in it.  This will be a special “silents please” L&H program that Gene Sorkin’s Cincinatti  Chimp Tent just presented with great success. We'll be in the banquet room #1 upstairs  (there is an elevator) using their media equipment. As usual there will be cake, door prizes, L&H  and camaraderie, all for $5.00. Fans under 12 years old are free.  Let me know by Wed. June 8 (Clean Air Day) if you want to attend, so I know to keep the room reservation and send the deposit. Below is the program that Gene was gracious enough to send me.   Cheers, Flip

Almost one-third of all Laurel and Hardy movies were silent films (32 of 106), so we can't ignore these formative films in their filmography.  Gas up your tin lizzies and here's the details
