Why Go: Featuring three local solo musicians, Neil Jacobs, Doug Wood and Tim Farrell, the all-acoustic Guys With Guitars remind audiences of the old Windham Hill concert series, according to the Cain Park website. Jacobs finger-picks his 12-string, Wood revives his days playing in the Boston subways in the early '90s and Farrell’s original compositions “display an elegant simplicity that celebrates the purity of the acoustic guitar,” according to the site.
